Executive Director
Aboubacar “Asn” Ndiaye is a seasoned advocate for housing justice and climate equity. His experience includes securing a $150M commitment to affordable housing and developing strategic campaigns at PowerSwitch Action.

Property Manager
Valeska, a queer Nicaraguan immigrant, combines academic insights with activism to support equity-driven work as NCLT's Property Manager. She's committed to fostering inclusivity and justice.

Homeownership & Policy Associate
With a background in both city planning and data science, Chloe Park started as an intern with NCLT and now helps to manage the stewardship operations and communications of the organization.

Isaac Kianovsky
Property & Fundraising Assistant
Isaac Kianovsky supports NCLT’s fundraising, property management, and property development departments in the role of Fundraising and Property Assistant. Isaac joined the NCLT team in May of 2024.

Meg Shiffler, an arts visionary, brings extensive experience in arts strategy, curation, and community building. As Director of Artist Space Trust, she pioneers inclusive initiatives with diverse artists and communities.

Qiana Ellis is a Californian artist and community-oriented professional with expertise in program development and project management. Her creative work is centered around folk pattern, symbology, and the poetry of piecework.

Alex Acuña is an organizer, housing justice practitioner, and a 4th generation East Bay resident. He is committed to the CLT movement and to growing AST’s stewardship of housing as Real Estate Project Manager.

Elizabeth Wampler
Chair
Elizabeth Wampler, with over 15 years in community development and planning, leads housing and economic development initiatives at LISC Bay Area. She's a committed collaborator in promoting equity.

Maisha Nelson
Vice Chair
Maisha, an experienced HR professional, joined NCLT's Board in 2022. A Bay Area native and UC Irvine graduate, she's passionate about reentry programs and also serves on the NAAAHR board.

Joshua Abrams
Secretary
Joshua Abrams, a housing policy specialist and skilled mediator, has served on the NCLT Board since 2008. He blends city planning with effective public facilitation.

Treasurer
Michael Darnaud is a startup Mentor and an Environmental, Social and Governance Business Development specialist who helps companies reach their NetZero goals. Originally from France, he has served on a variety of Boards in the Bay Area for over 12 years.

James Frank is a resident of the NCLT community Mariposa Grove and a professional city planner. He values the structures that help the social life of communities grow.
