Meg Shiffler

Meg Shiffler is a visionary arts leader with decades of experience as an arts and culture strategist, gallery director, curator, and educator in the Bay Area, New York City, and Seattle.
Meg has a unique cross-sector background that includes experience in building and growing organizations and programs, launching impactful and equitable initiatives with diverse artists and communities, executing strategic planning with staff and stakeholders, and negotiating complex contracts for labor, services, materials, and space.
Notably, Meg served as Galleries Director and Chief Curator for the San Francisco Arts Commission Galleries for sixteen years and most recently held the position of Head of Space and Operations for the global innovation incubator Swissnex. Currently, she is serving as the inaugural director of the newly formed Artist Space Trust.
