Welcome to NCLT. Based in Berkeley, California the Northern California Land Trust (NCLT) is a community-based not-for-profit committed to making homes and community facilities permanently affordable through the community land trust (CLT) model. We hope you’ll take a few minutes to look around our site, including our latest openings at the Noodle Factory in Oakland. We'd like to extend warm thanks to all of the Noodle Factory’s Performing Arts Center Commissioning Program donors. We'd also like to invite others to participate. In recent news we have been featured in the East Bay Business Times for our innovative Non-Profit Solar Alliance program which helps make solar energy affordable for non-profit groups through a partnership with Enterprise Community Partners. We have also been awarded a $760,000 grant from the State of California for our first-time homebuyer assistance program that will help make CLT housing in the Bay Area more affordable. We have also moved to a new office location! Our office is now located at 3122 Shattuck Avenue just two doors down from the previous address.
